Feeling vintage.

(pearls: antique shop // white sleeveless button-up, & shoes: mom's closet // dress, & snake print belt: goodwill)
Hey there! I feel like it's been a while. I really missed this! Gosh. I'm already quite addicted to this nonsense. :) Today I really did not do anything, honestly. I worked on some summer AP homework, and I practiced driving by going with my mom to get some food for dinner. Literally nothing significant. Haha. I mean, I didn't plan on doing anything, really - but still.

At first today, I just wore this dress alone. Thinking on it some more as the day went on, I added this sleeveless button-up of my mom's from the 90s(?) and this snake skin belt that I got from GoodWill in Santa Barbara. I felt oddly vintage; buttoning this shirt up to the top... with a skirt that's not super short like most skirts these days. Oh, and these pearls! Haha, perfect.
I almost can't wait for school to start up again, which is further odd. I am not looking forward to the school work, as Junior Year is supposedly the most difficult. Plus I'm taking two Advanced Placement classes. Sigh. However, I can't wait to style up this fall and winter! I'm rather excited. I have some things in mind especially that I want to do...Also, things that I want to buy. We'll see what comes out of that notion, though...heh.

I'm hoping to jump back into my normal blogging schedule, but I am slightly fearing how I'm going to blog when I go back to school on the 23rd (a Monday - crazy right?!). I'll have to ask around the blogging community to see how others do it. Hopefully all will be alright and I'll be able to update at least a few times a week.

Anyway! Hope everyone is having a good week...!

  1. This is so adorable. I love the color of the skirt!! So pretty and definitely vintage. You look amazing. I wish you the best of luck during your school year! Don't worry- I took two AP classes junior year and still found myself procrastinating on easy/time inducing classes. You'll be alright:)

  2. Adorable! I love the skirt and the fact that you buttoned up the top! It's amazingly cute and vintagey. Eh, junior year is the hardest! The only thing I remember about it was English class, sooo much writing!

Anyways, I'm super glad I found your blog and I'm so excited to keep reading your posts :]
