Anchor Me In

dress: vintage, aubergine, oxfords: vintage, hat: forever 21, belt: goodwill, purse: thrifted
G'morning! So, I must say, putting together this post must have been the most drawn out, horrible thing I've endured in a LONG time. I loved the photos, loved editing them, loved how they turned out... but when I tried to start uploading and aligning them on blogger's new interface...things went to crap, to say the least. Not even when I switched back to the old interface just to attempt to finish this post did it work any better. The old one wouldn't work for me either... It was painful. I basically had to work in the html section only to get anything done, because the compose section was sucking so much. Sigh... I cannot deal with this from now on every time I want to post....

In happier news, I had a lovely day with Nat yesterday, makeshift picnicking again at Pioneer Park and taking photos. Lots of fun. :) We watched Donnie Darko later that night... Jeez what a weird, scary? movie! I liked it a lot, but was so thoroughly confused... Haha... About my outfit, I bought this dress at a vintage store in Sobastapol called Aubergine on Friday when I went for the afternoon with my mom and friend Jessica. It wasn't too expensive and I love the cute collar and stripes on the dress! Definitely a worthwhile purchase and afternoon. I'm going to leave it at that now. My mom and I are going to the Alameada Flea Market today bright and early! Talk to you soon! xx

  1. I don't even want to attempt trying bloggers new interface. I am really bad with change & know I would get equally frustrated.

  7. I'm so scared to switch to Blogger's new interface!! I'm putting it off as long as possible :) These photos are lovely and worth the trouble! That dress is quite the find! What settings do you use on your DSLR, if you don't mind me asking?

And I love that you enjoyed Darko! I'm also loving that necklace!! <3

  8. I can say I totally felt the same way while watching Donnie Darko, but it's a really awesome movie. Especially if you watched again and again. Kind of like the Fight Club I guess... Yeah. Oh and that new blogger interface, God help us all!

You look so lovely Elanor! I have a pair of shoes similar to those, but I couldn't figure out how to wear them. Must try them with dress!
