A Vintage Saturday

lace top: vintage, thrifted, skirt: thrifted, oxfords: vintage, sweater: vintage, belt: goodwill
Hi! So, on Saturday, Nat and I drove into San Francisco to go to the RVCA vintage flea market on Haight and Ashbury. The main point was to check out some amazing vintage, BUT ALSO, to finally meet the lovely ladies of the Hummingbird Girls and Isla of A Fine Day For Sailing - all three of which live in the city! We had never met in person even though we live so close! It was such a pleasure meeting these ladies... They were so friendly and sweet. ♥
I bought a pretty vintage dress and a blouse at the flea market - it was great day! I hope that I will have another chance to meet with Jenny, Annalise, and Isla again... Though I felt nervous and awkward, they were just the nicest gals ever. :) Unfortunately, somehow I forgot to take a few photos with them! Not sure how that slipped my mind... Anyway, afterward, Nat and I grabbed lunch and he helped me take these photos. It was a beautiful day in SF, surprisingly! I felt fine throughout the afternoon.

Of course, as per normal for driving/parking in SF... we had trouble...sighhh. The parking lot I normally go to when coming to the Haight was full, SOOO we had to find another, and it was kind of a far distance away. It was fine in the end, as it always is, so no biggie. ♥ Well, I'm off for now! Don't forget to ENTER MY GIVEAWAY!! xx

  1. Ahh, how fun that you got to meet up with Jenny, Annalise, and Isla! :) They seem so sweet and lovely on their blogs, and I'm sure they were a million times sweet and lovelier in real life. Glad you had a wonderful time with them! :)

  7. What a perfect look to wear for a vintage festival. It sounds like an awesome time!...not the parking though. Parking in a big city is such a pain.

  11. Finding parking in big unfamiliar cities is an absolutely nightmare and I always dread it. It's one of those things I obsessively plan and back-up plan for in advance hah.

Lovely outfit, that lace top is pretty and I dig the green of the cardigan. Looks great on you.

  13. I think it's so cool you get to meet fellow bloggers! I feel like I will never meet one because I live in the middle of nowhere, which is sad (super sad face), but I am so happy for you!

  14. Glad you had fun! Meeting online friends in real life is so much fun! Earlier this spring I got to meet three of my online friends when I went to visit one of my long distance (former online) friends. And somehow I only managed to get pictures of me with one of them! Ack! >.< I was so mad at myself when I got back and realized my mistake. I am for sure getting pictures with them when I see them again in March!
