Today is my last day of high school, you guys! Tomorrow I graduate and then it's summer and then it's the rest of my life. Well, college that is. Speaking of that, I am going up to Seattle from June 21st to June 24th for New Student Advising with my dad! It will be a short trip but the only one until I move up there come late September. It will be my first trip over the summer, and definitely not my last! :)
I wore this yesterday to my one final at school, and then spent the rest of the afternoon lounging in it, reading Catching Fire. If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram (=missinglovee), you'll know that I started reading the Hunger Games on Saturday... And now last night I already finished the second book... They are definitely page turners! Once I finish the series and watch the movie and such, perhaps I'll tell you all what I think in greater depth. ;)
On a final note - I FINALLY GOT A REMOTE! These were my first set of photos taken with it all by myself. I'm quite proud of the results and it was so much easier to take photos without having to worry about not being in focus, et cetera... I'll definitely have to learn how to pose more naturally while holding the remote, but so far, I'm very happy about finally owning one...! xx

Firstly, congrats on being able to take such fabulous pictures with your remote--I could never really get the hang of it. It would go too fast for me! I would have never even guessed you used one, especially for that book reading shot. :) I'm digging that handmade bag. Whoever made it for you sure did a good job!
ReplyDeleteSecondly... eeeeep! Your last day of high school, that's so exciting, make it good! I'm sure you did/will. :D New adventures will soon be on your way.
A remote is a total game changer in personal style blogging! Haha. Now I just need to replace my broken tripod with something a bit more sturdy.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing your last day of HS! Now it's just on to graduation : ) My dear, you've done it!!
Yay for finishing and graduating high school! It's such a fun time. And, coincidentally, I read the entire Hunger Games series right as my days in high school were coming to an end. They are such a breeze to read, but there's actually a lot of depth to them. I get to reread the first one in my upcoming children's literature class (in a critical way) and I am so excited! I love how well the book jacket matches your (totally adorable) dress! Can't wait to see more photos with the remote!

ReplyDeleteYour photos look great which makes me really jealous because I always have focus issues. I may have to get myself one of those remotes too :) Also - the belt + your bag seem destined for each other.
