I can smell the spring in the air, and what a glorious feeling! I've still had a bit of time to take outfit photos this week, despite being extremely busy with paper writing + studying for finals. One paper that I've mostly been working on has been my spiritual autobiography for my UFDN 1000 class that I mentioned in my last post. Though it seems pretty much straight forward (writing about my faith journey, et cetera), it's actually somewhat challenging to transfer thoughts to paper in an efficient and eloquent manner. Generally I'm proud of my end results when it comes to essay-writing, but it takes me a long time and generally I write too much in the process! However, I'm nearly finished and just have to write the "creed" part -- which is essentially a bunch of statements of what "I believe".

This weekend is my last weekend in Seattle until after spring break, so in between studying, I'm hoping for some fun times with the gang. Kristie and I have had supplies to make flower crowns since November so I think we are finally go to make them this Friday... and then maybe eat Thai... :) The usual. Oh gosh, predictability at its finest...? Happy Thursday! xxoo E

  10. Lovely look, especially the bandana in the hair.

I can totally see why that must be a harder paper to write. It is intimate and personal as a topic and can be challenging to translate both the sincerity and intensity of feeling to the written word, especially if what made a difference was not a grand event but a "strange warming of the heart" as John Wesley once described it.

  11. I LOVE those boots! Also, I wish I was around more trees like that. Trees and Kansas are pretty boring in the winter. Those trees are pretty all the time.
