Tree House Point

Imagine this: you drive 30 minutes away from Seattle (with coffee + pastries for good measure) to a dense, rich green forest to go on a tour of tree houses for the morning (yes you heard me: tree houses!) My friend Mallory had bought tickets to go with her boyfriend but unfortunately it didn't work for them this weekend, so instead, I swooped on in and took this guy Ben along with me... :-) I had no idea places like Tree House Point existed, but was very happy to find out that they do. This place has 8 tree houses total, 6 of which are tree houses that can be rented out. Needless to say, I now want to go stay there indefinitely.

Today was lovely – in fact, lately everything has been lovely...! November started on a great note and this week has only proven that it is just going to get better. More and more I'm in the mindset that everything happens for a reason, just the way it should – one way or another. It's all about that flow and remembering that you only have so much control and you've got to accept that. At the same time, everyone has choices and decisions to make, and eventually you'll need to make 'em. Y'know, thoughts & reminders. And in the meantime, enjoy some of my tree house photos...

  3. Wait a minute. Hold up. You can RENT tree houses?! Yes please! Wow this place is gorgeous. It looks like these this place was swallowed by the forest and I adore that. I'd love to get lost here for a few days. Reading and writing in a treehouse sounds perfect. Love these pictures.
