January 9th, 2011

So here are the kind of photos I want all the time. After church, my mom helped me with these photos again - and this is what I'm talking about. I absolutely love the lighting in all of these. I think that's what tickles my fancy the most: perfect lighting. Ahhh. :-) And not to forget the fact that this is, yet again, another new dress from GoodWill. I find myself too often buying dress after dress after dress... and nothing else! Egad. I just can't help myself!

But I have a new prospect to consider. Longer dresses/skirts look better on me. I've always been self-conscious about my legs, and to fix this (and perhaps to be better flattering...) I believe I'm going to get rid of my uber short skirts and dresses. Is it too soon to have a blog shop where I sell my own clothes? Would anyone be interested? It's just a thought.

1. Over the past year, I've actually become quite interested in philosophy
and Transcendentalism (thanks to my boyfriend).
2. I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
3. I love candles! I want to have a dozen or so lighting up my room at some point.
4. I'm pretty insecure and shy, but hope to change this.
5. My favorite novel series was, and perhaps still is,
Warriors (the original series) by Erin Hunter. :3
6. My favorite modern choral composer is Eric Whitacre.
7. After biting my nails for all of my life, I finally quit
this past August! I'm so proud. :')

    Well look at that - we have at least the first two points you shared in common! Although, I have to say I am much more acquainted with Kant's Transcendental Idealism than American Transcendentalism (which is what I assume you're referring to).

    So pretty. These photo's are great! And I think you should definitely do a video! If you have a mac imovie is EASY. I just started playing around with it and it's super easy to figure out! I'd love to see some Elanor movies!

    These photos are gorgeous, as is your outfit! That dress is just lovely on you. I've actually been really into Transcendentalism for a few years now, ever since I first started to read the writings of Thoreau and Emerson. It's really such a wonderful philosophy :)

    I always go buying dresses too! They are the most comfortable and easiest things sometimes. Your dress is cute and makes me think it's time to hit up the thrift shops again... and I really like your shoes!

    These are perfect pictures! I know what you mean by wanting them all the time.. sometimes I have to wake up soo early so the lighting isn't harsh, ridiculous!

    I know what you mean about perfect lighting. 4 in the afternoon on a sunny day is IT. My favourite colour scheme too, blue and red.

    Lovely. This is sheer perfection. The necklace(s?), the print of the dress, the tights, the shoes - I'm really digging this. And your hair may be my favorite part of the whole look!
