Good Friday

skirt: forever 21, blouse: thrifted, wedges: target, belt: goodwill
Happy Friday, all! But especially, happy Good Friday. Although, I'm not quite sure if you are supposed to say "happy" Good Friday, as it is a solemn time. As much as I love the festivities and happiness of Easter, Good Friday is what really touches my heart and makes me realize the true grace of my savoir, Jesus Christ. To die on the cross so that I may have life. What kind of savior is this? One beyond anything that I deserve.

I'm not sure how well this skirt photographed in comparison to real life, but I recently got it and knew I had to wear it today! Also, my feet hurt until 10 minutes ago when I finally took these kicks off. ;) As much as I love wedges and heels right now in my life, by the end of a long day, there is nothing better than sitting cross legged, bare-foot in some pajamas.     I love the skirt, its very retro!
    and if I wear heels all day when i take them off it makes my feet hurt worst.. heels are awful and amazing all at the same time.. *sigh*

    Although there is a lot of awesome going on here in this outfit, my favorite touch is those shoes! They compliment the skirt (and the whole outfit) so well.

    Someday soon life will kind of slow down. Before we know it, junior year will be over and summer will be knocking at the door. The letters will be exchanged whenever time allows. <3

    I always wonder the same thing because I don't thing that saying happy Good Friday is a good expression haha, it kind of defeats it's purpose because it's not supposed to be a happy holiday. i mean yeah, but well you understand :P your blouse IS SO AWESOME. I really need one like that!
