Angels Knoll

romper: goodwill, moccasins: thrifted, hat: forever 21, purse: vintage, dooney & burke
Here's my final post from my trip to LA with my dad! Sunday we had a yummy breakfast at the Biltmore - as you can see from the hipstamatic photos, I had a crepe... a Nutella and strawberry crepe... Yes, I'm guilty. Oh well. ;) Afterwards we went to Angels Knoll park a few blocks away from the Biltmore, where they filmed the park bench scene in 500 Days of Summer! I got this idea from Coury of Fancy Treehouse's favorite LA locations blog post. We didn't have time to do anymore things on her list, but since Angels Knoll was so close to our hotel, we just walked on over in the morning before we left.

Despite the fact that 500 Days of Summer was very depressing, I really loved the film. It was so real. Most Hollywood films show what most relationships aren't. But this movie did. And of course it makes us sad, as viewers...but there is always hope, even at the end of the film... Well you know how it went.

Well anywho, after the park bench fun, we checked out of the hotel and decided to stop at city hall to take some outfit shots before leaving LA. I just want to publicly announce here that I am so thankful for my dad throughout this trip! He took my outfit shots willingly throughout the two days and did a great job to boot! So, thanks so much dad! I love you! ♥♥

I hope you enjoyed the photos from my trip... I sure enjoyed my trip! :) My posts will be back to normal now. As always, thanks for reading - I appreciate you all so much! xx

  4. Eeep that's so cool you got to sit on that bench! Being from New Zealand things like that seem super exciting to me. The only movie thing you can visit here is parts of the Lord of the Rings set but I guess that's kinda cool too. I loved 500 Days of Summer, such a great film and the two leads are some of my favourite people in Hollywood- both so charming.
