The Golden

dress: forever 21, scarf: my mom's, tights: marshall's, boots: goodwill
Happy Saturday, folks! I had a beautiful day in San Francisco with Nat on Thursday that I want to share with you all... :) We took an abundant amount of photos, not to mention a lot of self portraits of the two of us where we sorta cam-whore'd...but who cares! This post has a lot of photos, but I'm not going to apologize cause you guys usually like photos more than all my rambling anyway, right? ;) Well I hope not too much!

We spent most of the day in Golden Gate Park, wandering happily in the nice weather. It wasn't freezing for once! Though, I will be happy if 70 degree weather ever comes back to the city this summer... I hope it does! We stopped at the Haight to grab a late lunch and then we went to a bookstore and took a break to look around. As you can see from my photos of the books, there are some interesting books out there these days... It reminds me that I need to start reading more again! During the school year it's difficult to read for fun. :( Right now I'm reading The Deathly Hollows so I can see the final Harry Potter movie! After that, we went to Amoeba Music and explored the vast amount of music they have, and listened to a live band that was playing that afternoon.

Anyway, the last thing we did in the city was go to the Conservatory of Flowers in the park to take some outfit shots. We ended up doing that for an hour! It was a lot of fun and a lot of laughs though - so a great use of time. For dinner we went out to a lovely little Italian restaurant and ate yummy pasta. :) It was a very happy, special day. ♥

Today I'm going to DCI (Drum Corps International) with my family and Nat... I'll explain what that is and probably post about it in a day or so... :) Thanks for reading, dears! x

  1. I can't believe you're still wearing tights in summer! I wish I could. The heat here is starting to get unbearable. But you look so adorable! And I totally wish I could pay a visit to that record store light RIGHT now.

  5. Lovely photos my dear! The conservatory of flowers is one of my favorite places and I wish it was open a little later on the week days so I could visit more often. The sunlight looks so pretty in these photos and both of you look like you had a great time. Cute!! Love your rings lady! And if you ever want to talk about books, I'm totally down. Right now i'm finishing up Wild Swans by Jung Chang. Next on my list is Just Kids by Patti Smith.

  6. Ahh, the Amoeba is such a fun place! I went there last summer on my trip to San Francisco and loved it! We actually didn't make it to golden gate park, though. Hopefully we'll go this summer since it looks so beautiful! Also, I just finished reading the Deathly Hallows as well. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be a mess by the end of that movie.

Anyway, this is such a lovely outfit. That dress is phenomenal, and all of these photos are beautiful!

Btw, I'll be in the bay area for a week and a half in mid-July, so we should meet up if you're free! :)

  7. Wow! Looks like you had a lot of fun! I usually hate parodies of classic books, but the meowmorphasis looks funny! (I had to read the Metamorphosis for school and I hated it!)
