Haylo lovelies! I hope you all are doing well! I feel like I haven't asked lately. I also feel like I haven't properly thanked you all for every sweet comment that I've received lately! I appreciate them so much and smile every time I see a new one. So thank you all! And now, how is it going? What is one fun thing you've done this weekend?
As I mentioned in my last post, I went to a going away party hosted by my friend and band mate Evan on Friday. It was a fun night full of laughs and good music - mostly bands that Evan is in, including Time Travel, the band that I was in with him. It was fun performing one last time with him and Sam, our other band mate. I say "the band that I was in" because Evan is going off to college in New York. I'll miss him and the times we had together, but I think really I am just thankful that I knew him and in some ways, by inviting me to be in a band, he sort of gave me the opportunity to grow from my shell. To explore performing and a new side to music and singing that I hadn't known. It was a truly awesome experience to be in a band with those two. I just regret that we didn't record all of our music in the end, like we had intended to. But life sort of got in the way.
Anyway, my point is that now that I've had a taste of it, I want to continue somehow. It won't be as automatically convenient as it was last year where I had a class period in school to write music... but that just means I have to do a bit more growing and find people who would be interested in making music with me. Small steps. I think I will start with Nathaniel. ;) He and I are planning on writing music together this year. I think it will be great.
Wow... just rambled. Oh well. That's what a blog is for, right? Sometimes I'd like to go more into detail with my thoughts - so thanks for reading, if you did! About the outfit... I told Nat this is mah PARTY DRESS! Cuz we were partying so hard! Haahaa... I just love these new wedges especially! I got them on mega sale at Kohl's. Imma rock them in the fall/winter with tights! Oops, this got long. K, have a beautiful Sunday! x

I went horseback riding this weekend! I went once when I was 8 but I've always wanted to go again. I'm extremely sore, but it's so worth it.
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend is a musician and I know it saddens him a little that I'm not more into it, that I don't know more about music or that I don't listen to more of it. I wish I had a good singing voice or more knowledge to contribute when he gets so enthused about it. It's wonderful that you have this side of you to explore. And I actually really enjoy reading ALL of your blog, even the rambly bits :)
Those are some great wedges. I just wish I could drive in them, so I could have more reasons to buy pairs... I'm just too lazy be changing shoes all the time.
this whole outfit is just perfect! stunning! My God I love it D:
