dress & beanie: forever 21, belt & shoes: thrifted, tights: target, cardigan: goodwill, purse: vintage
Happy Tuesday and Thanksgiving week, loves. :) I meant to post a Mixtape Monday yesterday, but it just didn't happen. I got caught up with hanging out with friends, the madness of too much pizza and snacks, and silly movies with Jim Carrey in them... haha. I love that guy. So Mixtape Monday is taking a break, if that wasn't very obvious.I'm supposed to have a sewing lesson today, so I need to find out what's going on with that... I haven't yet talked about this yet, but I might as well now! We have "senior projects" at my high school, which are supposed to be projects that you decide on yourself that will be challenging et cetera. So I decided that I want to learn how to sew, and in the end, design and create a dress of my own. I'm excited, but pretty nervous at the same time... :o
About this outfit, I decided to center it around the beanie, because for some reason, I had a hankering to wear one. I'm not sure how thrilled I am about the overall outcome, or the lack of photos we got, but oh well! Have a good one. xx

You're a cutie. :3
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful dress! Good luck on learning to sew/make a dress. The first project is the most rewarding of them all.
ReplyDelete^^ Nat commenting is the cutest thing ever!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the photos!! You outfit is cute!! And I hope you have fun learning to sew!! That's a cool project/goal :)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this white sweater & big green scarf. We had to do similar senior projects in high school, I think sewing sounds like a fantastic plan. Once you get down the basics it's really not that bad. You just have to stay organized and on target. (Sometimes I still cut out patterns only to get bored before actually sewing them together. Whoops.) Good luck!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky duck for getting a week off for thanksgiving.. I have to go through Wednesday.. Bleh. It sounds like so much to fun to choose a project like that! I once made a dress when I was learning to sew and read patterns. Although I do not prefer the dress now, it is a good memory! And a proud accomplishment, as sewing is not an easy feat! I wish you the best of luck in your sewing endeavors! It truly is so fun.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I got your letter... :)
