Before I begin: disregard the fact that I am wearing the same sweater in this post as my last post. This was, for your information, October 20th! So it was quite the coincidence that I would wear this same sweater again last Friday. ;) Anyway, onto more important matters...
On our second to last day of college touring, my mom and I went to George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. We were given a lovely tour and an equally as lovely informational meeting about the application process at Fox. I actually quite enjoyed the campus and the Christian message that was obvious there. Albeit, it is in Newberg...which is a smallish town about a half hour from Portland. I loved Portland... but it isn't exactly in Portland. I'm definitely still applying though! :)
That afternoon we drove over to Salem, Oregon to look at Corban University. I don't want to say anything negative because I'm sure it's a great school in itself... but to be honest, we didn't even bother with the tour. The school has like 3 penitentiaries around it... and Salem was a ways away from the school, and it didn't look like it would hold anything of interest anyway. I feel bad, but here's the truth: we spent the afternoon thrifting instead! I'm such a bad kid. Psshshh. It was fun though. We found a lot of good deals....and had a lot of fun taking it all home on the airplane... ooopss.... xx

This is truly the perfect comfy grandpa sweater! It goes marvelous with your dainty floral skirt, too. Beautiful and perfectly put together as always, Elanor! :D
ReplyDeleteThe idea of doing a campus tour before applying sounds amazing! Here in Portugal people don't do that (at least that often) and they just apply according to what they found on the internet! It's a bit sad!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, you look gorgeous and super comfy in that outfit! I love the scarf! :D
Super cute!! And at the least the day wasn't a total lost and you got to do some thrifting!! Score!
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty. I love all the colors and the red lip. So very classy. Most people going in for college tours probably wear sweatshirts. Good job for going the extra mile.
