Happy hump day! I am very excited to be posting this outfit today because I'm wearing my gifts from Christmas! This dress from Ruche had been on my wishlist for a while now, as well as these boots from Urban Outfitters, and my parents were generous enough to buy both for me! And to make matters better, the two pieces match so I thought what the heck - I'll wear them together! And here we are. :)What's more, my hair matches the dress and boots too...! Haha. Why is dressing so fun? I feel sorry for people who don't feel the same. ;) They're missing out! Anywho, I thought up a few resolutions for the new year - other than maintaining a mindset of progress, thankfulness and happiness...
Take more photos for fun, not just for blogging. DSLR and film.
Begin and finish 15 books.
Spend more time daily in prayer and reading the Bible.
Exercise 2-3 days of the week for an hour.
Travel somewhere with friends or Nat.

ReplyDeleteThose are lovely resolutions to make-- nice and specific, too, so you'll probably be able to stick to them better. Still haven't made any myself, not really sure about what I need to change. I'll figure it out soon enough!
LOVE! Gosh this is so cute, I love the print on the dress. And the shoes really do match it perfectly! One of my resolutions is to take more photos with film too..I always love how the photos turn out.

ReplyDeleteThose are great resolutions! One of my biggest ones (that I actually didn't make till the 2nd - God has ways of getting His point across...) is to live more in the moment, do what I believe is right to do right now and not worry about how it will turn out. Because if I do what's right now God will work it out in the end, even if it doesn't seem like it now. <3 I'm really not very good at accepting when things are out of my control, but I really need to do better, because there's so much that I just can't control and it's pointless to try!
Here's hoping 2012 is great for both of us! <3
