NYC: Party Rockin'

I have come to the conclusion that the internet is a wonderful tool, indeed. Where else would I have the opportunity to meet individuals with similar interests as me all the way across the United States? Oh, and if only it were just "similar interests". Guys, I'm in love with Nicole of Coco Maria. Don't tell her because she might think I'm even weirder than she has already learned that I am.... BUT I'M DEAD SERIOUS. I just spent four days with her in New York and I think it's safe to say I had such an awesome time.

I've met Nicole a few times in the past before, but this was the first extended visit. Within the first evening we were already chatting like crazy and by the next day, I felt like we had been friends forever. She is SO FUNNY and just so nice and goofy and I think I may have been laughing 90% of the trip. Somehow we never ran out of things to talk about and she even put up with my constant complaining about the heat as well as a bunch of bug bites on my legs. :D

These photos are just from Friday, which is when we did a bit more touristy things like Time Square and the Top of the Rock. Don't mind my incredibly short dress. Ohjeez. I was sent this dress by the online company Sheinside and while I think it has an incredibly darling print... the less-than-ideal quality and length of the dress is not something I really adore. In regards to the length... let's just say I'm glad I wore shorts under the dress.

Anywho! This is post one out of a series of posts I will have from my NY trip. And of course I'll talk more about how wonderful Nicole is in each one. ;) Talk to you soon! & I'm glad to be back to the internet world! xx

  2. The way you captured New York in these photos is absolutely magical! It's a shame that dress is so darn cheap because that print really is stunning. Glad you had a good time with Nicole! I look forward to seeing the rest of the posts. :)

  4. Glad you had a good time! I was there in November, and I recognize some of the places/things in your pictures. ;) Oooh, I LOVE the print on your dress, but you're right about the length - it looks like doll's clothes on you. :( Such a shame! I hate it when things like that happen.

  15. I cannot wait to read the rest of your posts. Seriously when y'all were tweeting I was like "THERE BETTER BE LOTS AND LOTS OF POSTS ON THIS". But really, that was the best part about blogging, meeting new friends and then ACTUALLY meeting them in real life. I guess that's the only part of it I miss.
