We had our first true exposure to rain over here in Seattle this past Monday. It was off and on, but just a completely lovely thing. I was worried about taking photos that day, but I really wanted to - and fortunately my friend Mallory didn't mind snapping a few photos before all light disappeared. It's truly the only thing that bothers me about this time of year - the daylight hours growing shorter and shorter. Anyway, I've been channeling the autumn vibe in virtually every outfit I've been wearing lately! This is one of my favorite newer dresses which I bought a few weeks before coming up here.
If you read my Twitter you'll know of the unfortunate evening I had upon returning from Camp Casey on Sunday... I was walking and I rolled my ankle! Hah, the ever clumsy gal I am. I was informed that it was a mild sprain and I guess that was probably the highlight of the past few days! I'm doing better today, but I still can't quit run on it which is a bummer because my exercise levels here need improvements. I've been running a bit with Kristie, and want to continue doing that on my own and explore Seattle by foot a bit. There is so much to see and explore and it's all just beautiful. Happy hump day! xxoo

Aw this dress is so perfect for the season. The colors just scream fall! Those boots look great with it too. Also, your necklace is SO cool!
ReplyDeleteI hope your ankle starts feeling better soon!
Ahhh, rain! I love the smell after rain... isn't there a name for it, like petrichor? Such a great scent, anyway, and I can imagine it smells nice mingled with the leafy scent of autumn!
ReplyDeleteHehe, anyway, the print on that dress is too neat. And the colors are seriously in line with autumn's own right now! I adore that little fox necklace, too. AND ANDand I hope that you recover quickly from your ankle, you poor clumsy thing! I hear ice cream does wonders for sore ankles, yeah yep. ;)
You look so adorable and happy! I love that necklace (of course, haha). I definitely know what you mean about the days getting shorter - really, it's the only thing I don't love about fall. I hope your ankle starts feeling better soon!

your necklace is so cute!!! i want one. and that dress. ugh i love it. the rainy suny setting of this is perfect. and that sucks about your ankle - i'm sorry! i do stuff like that a lot - cluminess isn't like the cute tv shows where girls are clumsy at all - it kinda hurts

Oh my word. I wish I could explain how much I love this outfit! That dress is to die for. Very impressed. I wish it was raining more where I live. I know I should be soaking up the sun before it disappears, but there is just something inspiring about gloomy and rainy days. I am ready for it!
ReplyDeleteAre you the cutest girl in the whole world or just this side of it? love your hair and love everything about this outfit! Man, I have sure missed seeing your blog. Glad to be back in the swing of things. You look lovely as ever! x
