A day belated of course, but here is my Christmas outfit! While I certainly enjoyed the holiday and the gift giving and the food - I feel like I wasn't as connected to it as I may have been in the past. I'm not sure why, though maybe it really did sneak up on me somehow? I don't have answers but like I said, it was a pleasant day! I received a few lovely gifts from my parents, but my major gift is going to be upgrading to an iPhone in February. So I'm excited for that! :)
Otherwise we went up north to spend the day with some relatives, where we had a nice lunch/dinner and played 1980s trivia and listened to the rain fall outside among the redwoods. It was a comfortable day and that evening we saw Les Miserables. I admit, I teared up a few times during that movie, for it was so moving. I hope your Christmas was grand, as well! Now here's to the last few days of 2012 being the best they can be...! xxoo

Awe, I'm glad that your Christmas was relaxing! It kind of did sneak up this year, didn't it? <3
ReplyDeleteI adore this look so much. That dress is just perfect on you and I love the socks/tights/shoes combo you've got going on... so pretty much everything about this outfit is amazing. :D
I love your coat! Anything tapestry inspired is right up my alley at the moment. I love that your outfit is cozy without screaming "Christmas!", too. That's what I went for this year as well, during actual Christmas day. I know what you mean about feeling a little bit distant from it all- could just be a part of growing up, though.

Your Christmas sounds lovely! It seemed to sneak up on me a little too, I almost feel like we haven't actually had Christmas yet! I"m glad you enjoyed Les Mis, I'm seeing it later this week and really looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteI love your coat, the fabric is glorious.

beautiful coat! maybe your disconnection has something to do with being away from home for the first time leading up to the holiday and being consumed with school?

um, HELLO GORGEOUS. the next time we meet-up we really need to plan a real photoshoot of sorts because holy heck would that be fun! the un-glamorous maggie taking pictures of the very glamorous elanor. our pictures from seattle prove that ;). you are the best.
ReplyDeleteMerry Belated Christmas! You looked gorgeous in your Christmas outfit. I love the layering of the socks over your cool tights. Such a pretty, classic dress too.
