Cool as a Cucumber

sweater vest & shirt: old navy, skirt, belt, & purse: thrifted, boots: marshall's
As I got dressed to wear this yesterday, I was surprised by my choice in patterns. I feel like it's been a while since I've did a good ol' mixing -- lately I've been keeping to clean patterns with solids, it seems. And while this mixing isn't too dramatic or anything, I thought it was fun to experiment perhaps a bit more than normal here. Plus, check out my hair (as if you had a choice). More often than not I've been attempting to pin back my mass of hair and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But let me tell you, I'm sure getting sick of this mullet nonsense.

Remember how I said last week was super busy with midterms and the skit competition? Well I've got that all finished up and I'm feeling quite satisfied! Midterms went well, and as for the skit, my floor got 2nd place, silver! For the second year in a row, might I add! If you care, here is a video of our skit. I am in the High School Musical scene as Troy Bolton! Hahah. I make quite a Zac Efron, I must say. Enjoy. ;)

In addition, I think I've almost beat this sickness I've had for the past week or so. I'm still dry coughing, but it isn't too much worse than that. I'm sure in the next day or so I'll be 100%. Anyway, thank you for reading as always! xxoo E
