The Dream of the 90s

So, clearly I couldn't resist using the Portlandia theme song for this blog post title -- now that I'm in Portland for next few days. "The 90s" doesn't so much apply to these photos, but you get the gist. I've only watched the show a couple of times, but it was definitely very quirky and funny when I did see it. Anyway, these iPhone shots are from throughout my short spring break at home, and then of course a few from yesterday when we arrived in the City of Roses. : )

Some highlights of my time at home:
+ Been wearing my hair pinned back to change things up and because my bangs are literally getting out of control these days.
+ Made a green smoothie for the first time (kale being the "green" component) It was tasty!
+ Celebrated my friend Miranda's 19th birthday with her -- Love that lady! Miss her like crazy, too.

Since arriving in Portland:
+ Went to the Oregon Historical Society Museum for a couple of hours.
+ Saw Life of Pi finally! All my feels, you guys. All my feels.

Just thought I'd give you a bit of an update. Hope you're enjoying your weekend! xxoo E
