Mahjong Tiles

top, skirt, belt, & purse: thrifted, heels: aerosoles
Phew. Hey guys! So as you can see, blogging this week wasn't exactly a thing -- and I'm going to blame it on the fact that I started my AAA internship on Monday. While I'm only working three days a week (MWF), this whole 9-5 thing is something that takes getting used to. I can't say I'm exactly a fan of that part, however, after only three days, I feel like I'm learning A LOT and it's all very exciting! I've never really been in a true, professional business setting like this is and it's very interesting to be participating in. Currently I'm observing the digital strategy team as they work on coming up with basically a whole new website for AAA. As you can imagine, this is especially interesting to me because with blogging, I have some experience with websites... but in a much more basic sense, obviously.

In regards to these photos, I went to the city with Miranda because she had an interview near China Town, so we took the opportunity to explore a bit and take a few photos. If you have ever been to San Francisco's China Town, you'll know that there is this park in the middle of it where you can always find groups of old men playing mahjong tiles and having a grand time. : )  Going into the city (any city: San Francisco or Seattle or wherever) never fails to remind me how excited I am for a future of being a city dweller.

  2. That would be weird working 9-5 especially since all my jobs' hours have always been all over the place! Love those pictures of China Town!

  4. I like that living in the suburbs (or at least here in Marin) gives easy access to the city and the country. Btw, your lunch looks scrumptious!
