top: brother's, skirt & belt: thrifted, boots: doc martens, vintage, vest: diy from a jean jacket
While putting this outfit together, I made an impulse decision to cut the sleeves off my jean jacket. OOPS. Sorry, yet also I'm not sorry. Now I have a cute denim vest! Besides, I do have another jean jacket so it's not all a loss, now is it? I'm not usually one to have very carefully thought out and beautifully elaborate DIY crafts, but this I can do! Oh and the flower crown. I did that. After 7 months of the supplies sitting on my desk. Hmmm. Yeah maybe that was a bit ridiculous.
Not much news to report on this morning, except perhaps that my internships are going well and I've been keeping myself relatively busy! I find that when I begin to feel restless and when the unceasing thinking begins, it's good to keep my hands and brain moving. So I've begun to tackle some art projects which has definitely renewed some spirit in me! I've missed art and the process that goes along with it. Honestly, it feels good to just CREATE something, you know? Have a swell Wednesday, loves. xxoo E

ReplyDeleteHaha, I did that with one of my denim jackets. And now I wish I'd done it the other way around...but I do like having a denim vest!
ReplyDeleteI really like the blend of color and pattern you have going on here, and I do believe sans sleeves worked out well! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's how I got my denim vest!

Great vest!! I love that you just cut off the sleeves impulsively. Now you have a perfect summer vest ;)
ReplyDeleteDenim vests are the best wardrobe staple hands down. I approve!
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute. I love how the vest DIY turned out. It looks so great with the pattern on your skirt. And these boots are awesome too. They give this such a cool 90s vibe!
