I've been eager to show you all bits of my dorm room ever since I started moving in, and I think it is finally in a good place to begin showing glimpses of it! Decorating and designing how I want my work + living spaces to look is something I adore doing so the process has been a long but extremely worthwhile one. Another great thing about living with Rachael is that we (obviously) have a lot of similarities and this overlaps with our aesthetic styles. I feel like that contributes greatly to the success of our dorm room -- our interests are clear in our decorating but they are styles that work well with each other's.
The kickstarter to taking these photos in particular is that we finally got a couch !!! A beautiful burnt orange/red baby that I found on Craigslist and then went forward and bought two days later. It's perfect. In fact, I'm sitting on it right now. I can't wait for cozy nights full of tea and reading, good talks and good music on this couch. As for the rest of the room, I think it will be a constant work of art for Rachael and I. But that's certainly something I'm fine with. :) xx

Everything about this room is perfect. Small cozy rooms are the best. They become like... these little nests of creativity. I love designing and decorating my bedroom since I feel like I spend the most time there and the most creativity springs up from that room. This looks like a dreamer's paradise!

i love every single thing about this!! that couch! ugh, i can't wait to movie out, and start collecting my own bits and pieces of furniture. but seriously, you style is perfection. this is the best dorm room. every bit of it!

Oh my gosh, your dorm room is so DREAMY! I especially love all the things pinned on your wall and that Dia de los Muertos-esque pillow. Love love love. I've been trying to cover my walls in art and prints and all sorts of things as the years progressed--I hope to have a cool space like yours one day!
