This & That

I'm unsure if it's because I've just been so incredibly busy with art + school + friends, but mostly I haven't taken my DSLR out in a while. It makes me sad because I do enjoy documenting memories and things that I see ... but lately it just hasn't been fluid. It's been wonderful to live in the moment and not photograph everything; but like I said, I do miss it. Fortunately I've still been taking photos with my iPhone and utilizing Instagram, so I haven't been completely without. Obviously if you want to follow me on Instagram, hit me up @missinglovee.

I think for me, it's been important to just live right now. I miss blogging and taking photos, but I don't really miss the stress of it all – which is why this break (or whatever it is) has been nice; refreshing. Something that I like to remember is that I can always return in full swing if I want. More and more I've been realizing that I'm not tied down to anything. I don't have to be the same person I was last year, last month, or even a minute ago. How cool is that?

  2. I've been loving the more lifestyle focused detour in your blog lately - I loved the style posts too but it's nice to see more of the behind the scenes and the everyday life. And even if you only blog every so often it's still always lovely to see you pop up in my blog news feed! These pics are stunning too - particularly the second last one in black and white.

  3. i am constantly taking breaks from blogging. once i made my blog something that i did for myself, it was easier to take more breaks, and only blog when i really want to. i think a lot of people worry a TON about their followers, and do it more for them than for themselves.

  4. This is exactly how I am feeling right now. I love that we can change whenever we want and grow as much as we let ourselves grow. Once your realize how much power you have over yourself, the entire universe opens up to you.

  5. Sometimes feeling pressure to post every week or every day can make you create content just for the sake of posting, not because it is something you want to share. So I think it's better when you blog for yourself and post whenever you feel like it. Beautiful pictures and it's great you are enjoying your life and its changes.
