A little bit late, but here I am with this Monday's playlist! Don't worry though, it's well worth the listen even if by the time you click on this post, it isn't Monday anymore. This Monday's mixtape has been brought to you by my friend Jamin! He's a music guru, so I asked him on Sunday if he would like to contribute! And here we are! I actually haven't listened to his playlist yet either...when I post this it will be my first time hearing what he chose. Take a listen! xx {original photo}

dress & belt: vintage, wedges: dsw, tote, necklace, & earrings: gifts
Happy Saturday! Thank you for all the birthday wishes - yesterday was a great day! My picnic at Dolores Park in San Francisco turned out perfectly and I had such an enjoyable time just eating and talking with my closest friends. Along with picnicking, we ate some yummy Bi Rite ice cream and also saw the film Celeste and Jesse Forever. It was one of those real life relationship movies... so obviously we left the theater kinda sad. I thought it was a wonderfully crafted film though, and I loved the actors in it and laughed out loud numerous times. :) I would suggest you see it, but be prepared to feel forlorn when it's over.
Upon coming home from my little get together, I opened up a package from none other than Nicole. I kinda melted when I saw what she gave me! This fantastic tote and necklace are just half of the gifts. She's such an awesome person, and somehow she knew perfectly what I'd love. I'm absolutely enamored with the tote! Geez I'm pretty sure it's the only bag I'll be carrying for a while... no big deal.
I've said this before, but I'll say it again. I'm so blessed by all the wonderful people in my life! My family, my friends...I'm just so fortunate that God has given me such a great nineteen years. Now... First thing's first... Make a 19 before 20 goal list! xx

The past couple weeks...
I'm on week two of my tattoo healing process and things seem to be looking good. Instagram, if nothing else, is a great record keeper. It reminded me that just a couple weeks ago, I had that annoying mop of a haircut, no tattoo, and I was 18. Well... I'm still 18. Until tomorrow! :) Hopefully my birthday plans fall in to place and it turns out to be a nice, fun, and relaxing day with my closest friends.
I've got a list of things that still need to get done before I leave, and of course packing. Packing is going to be quite the task, seeing as I keep buying more things HA. Um, yeah I bought two new dresses, a pair of boots, and a pair of corduroys yesterday. Let's just say I'm preparing for Seattle...?? Maybe in duel preparation for Seattle I should get rid of some stuff too.. Maybe, just maybe... I've already purged a bit over the past few months, but there are still some things I can't seem to part with even though I haven't worn them for a while. Since I'm unsure about where my style will go, I feel the need to keep my clothing options open and not get rid of too much yet. But in the end, it's all material goods anyway, right? All replaceable to some degree.
Oh, and of course, if you want to follow me on Instagram, my username is @missinglovee. Thanks, lovelies! xx

Deviations & Lace
dress: garage sale, anthropologie, purse: forever 21, boots: marshall's
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a lovely extra long weekend - though I think I would have probably enjoyed it more if I actually had something that I was getting off from! I'm still just hanging out over here; getting my stuff together and anticipating the last 14 days here in Northern California! My birthday is this Friday, so that's one last "big" thing that will be happening before I move. My plans are to go into San Francisco with my three closest friends and have a little pic nic in the park. Fingers crossed that the typical SF Indian summer will have drifted on in by then...!
If you watched my vlog - thank you so much! Talking to a video camera in an empty room is basically the more awkward thing ever, but I kind of started to get more used to it as the minutes ticked away. Sorry it was so long! If you watched it all, kudos to you! & thank you for all your sweet word about it. :) I'm glad it wasn't too much of a flop.
Anyway, about these photos! I wore this yesterday when hanging out with my friend Miranda. We shopped for college dorm stuff at Bed, Bath, & Beyond, wandered around San Rafael, checked out Goodwill, and of course, grabbed some frozen yogurt. This dress was given to me by a friend who was planning to get rid of it and sell it at her garage sale, but I picked it up off of her! I think it's beautiful... even well worth the somewhat copious amount of random compliments given to me by homeless (I think) people in San Rafael. I guess that was nice of them? I felt a bit awkward.
I feel like this outfit sort of deviates from my normal style - but I really dig it. I'm really hoping that my style is going to stretch and bend once I move to Seattle. I think the change will spark an over all change and I'm ready for that. I still have to figure out how to deal with the shoe problem though... not very confident on that front right now. Anywho, thanks for reading! xxx

First Ever Vlog!
And here we are! Not only was the process of making this extremely awkward (I did about a zillion retakes) but the converting and uploading process was long and obnoxious as well! See, this is what I do for you all. ;) I'm really excited to finally be getting this up here though. Please ignore my mumbling and jumbling of words and phrases... no one ever said I was good at talking. I'm a derp, but I tried to make a good video so no haters!
I am loving this thumbnail image. Dang I'm attractive. Hah. Um, also, disregard that huge bruise on my knee. That is one of many. I'm a clumsy gal. Anyway, enjoy the vlog! And have a happy Labor Day! xx
