Independence Day

What a nice long weekend. :) I hope everyone had a great 4th of July, if you live in the States! Though there are many problems and issues with America like any other nation, I think Americans need to count our blessings and realize the gift of living with the freedoms that many nations don't have.

Anyway, I went to the county fair again yesterday to celebrate the 4th but with Nathaniel this time. I'm never really a big "'celebrator" or whatever, but I decided it was only necessary to wear red, white, and blue. I'm somewhat lacking red here, but fortunately, Nat wore a bright red shirt so he was my red for the day...hehe.

I had a lot of fun and the fireworks were pretty great! Interestingly, the photos of the fireworks don't exactly look like fireworks...they look more like colored smoke. Which, in my opinion, looks kinda cool...! I hope you enjoy them! I rather do... :) Have a fabulous day! I'll talk to you all soon! x

    There is something about carnivals and Fourth of July that go together so well! These pictures definitely capture the spirit of the day. I love the simplicity of your dress with the scarf. Just lovely! xx

    I NEED TO GO THRIFTING WITH YOU! I always stare at your outfits in amazement and then scroll down to see where you got it...and then my hope is lost when I see that 99% of them are thrifted ;) You have such a great eye!!

    I always seem to have trouble with the red on this day too :P! but you had him so that's a bonus! Your clothes are amazing! and the pictures, God... I had like a picture orgasm (that sounds gross), but it's true! the last ones are particularly awesome!
