Pinstripes & New Friends

blouse & skirt: thrifted, boots: dsw, necklace: c/o oasap, tote: a gift
It still amazes me how God is working in my life up here in Seattle - I feel like it's been even more apparent now in this new environment than before. Things just keep falling into place. An example would have to be the reason for this post - I've made friends with this girl named Deb who is in my seminar class, and on one of the first days of class, she mentioned that she had a fashion blog. I was kinda just like, oh wow, is this actually happening? All of you with blogs can relate when I say that it's difficult discussing the blogging aspect of your life with people who just can't exactly understand. That's why I had so much fun with Nicole when I went and stayed with her in New York. We had so many things in common and our friendship was based off of the things we had in common. Which made it that much more amazing.

Anyway, Deb and I hung out on Thursday and we chatted for a while about college and our lives, and of course about blogging! Her blog is here and I added a photo of her below. :) During the day time on Thursday, we had clear skies and sun for a bit, but that evening the rain came down! I still don't know when to expect the rain. My weather app says it's supposed to rain today, but currently there's no drizzle! So who knows. I hope your weekend is off to a great start! P.S. I got my hair cut! Finally! :) xx

  4. Love this outfit! And thanks for the link to Deb's blog. It really is so nice finding people that you can talk about blogging with. I haven't really seriously blogged for all that long, but people who don't blog really just don't get it. I hope there is a Deb in my future. Haha

  9. Blogs of a feather flock together! Haha, that's totally not a phrase. But I'm glad you're meeting blogger friends! I wish I could meet some blogging friends. There's this one girl I kind of know who blogs in my art class. But I'm jealous you guys are talking about it and doing blogging things! Lucky gal!

Those pinstripes are fabulous on you and that necklace is too cool.
