Just a short entry... wanted to just say a word about today! Started off a little rocky of a birthday, but the day got better. My friend baked me a cake that I would take a photo of; but regretfully, it has sort of caved in on itself! My friend Jessica brought other treats at lunch and another friend made me a very lovely artistic card.

My parents decided that they want to pretend that my birthday is the 9th...(not gonna explain, hehe) so Thursday is when I'm going to "celebrate" with my family. Though tonight we went to Chevy's and it was yummy and now I'm full! : )

This is somewhat of a filler entry. I plan on posting soon, hopefully, about Monday. I got some photos from my day.

Feeling better today! Mostly because I fixed the bX-error thing just by switching templates then switching back... sheesh, easier than I thought! Still have a cold, but oh well.

Didn't do anything today! My plans for today with Derek were switched to tomorrow, so be prepared for a post about that either tomorrow night, or Tuesday. ;) Speaking of which, Tuesday is my 17th birthday! Eeep!

This is the first time I've worn this skirt since I bought it over the summer. I love pencil-like skirts! It's really great and refreshing to not have such a short skirt. I think I'm going to look for more like these for this fall. Maybe a denim one. :)

This photoshoot went alright - though I feel like my expression is dead for all the photos I got. Ah well. I did just wake up from a nap/doing homework when I went out to take these around 5:30...haha.

Gosh! One thing I've noticed about my outfits and my style and everything is that, I end up buying a lot of clothing, but never enough shoes or accessories! It's actually concerning. I end up wearing the same jewelery a lot - plus, I'm getting so bored of my shoes. I guess that's what I've got to remember to shop for from now on. You guys must remind me!

Hello readers! Ahhh it's been so long! :( Between getting a bX-code error from blogger on the 1st, and getting this super nasty cold, my past week wasn't too amazing. The error is still there and I still can't edit my layout/template/etc. As for my cold, hopefully it'll be gone within the next couple days...

I was planning on taking photos Wednesday morning again before school, but I desperately needed the sleep, so that's another reason why I didn't get more posts in this week. I'm kinda disappointed with myself and stupid blogger. Agghh.

But anyway, I got a couple decent shots today, but nothing I am too happy about. That's why there aren't many here. Oh, and also, I'm almost to 200 photos on flickr.com, so they are going to make me buy the 25 dollars a year thing, I'm sure.

I'm sorry that this post is not too excited... Hopefully I'll be back to my normal self soon enough.

Please pardon this appearance... I'm trying to clean things up/adjust the layout/put things in their place. It became much more of an ordeal when Blogger decided to give me an error message. Now I can't view or edit my template. Hopefully it will go away soon.

Also, I've developed a nasty cold. :( Yesterday my throat hurt, and I was slightly congested - but today my throat doesn't hurt and I'm incredibly congested. Not fun!

First Weekend.

My first weekend off from school was rather busy, to say the least! Minus Friday, though. Haha. Saturday morning I drove with Derek's family up to Humboldt county for a wedding. It was quite the party! Haha. We stayed in a hotel and the next day we drove home. However, not before stopping at "Confusion Hill" in Piercy, California. It has a gravity house, which is obviously quite "mysterious and confusing!" Hehe, it was silly and fun. :)

The wedding was out by the ocean - on a cliff! It was truly beautiful and the bride and groom looked very lovely. They had dogs running around while the ceremony was going on, too! I was almost afraid they would jump off the cliff, but they didn't luckily. Haha...

I decided to go vintage on this wedding day. :) It turned out I wasn't too warm, though. It was so windy and chilly out by the ocean!

When we went to Confusion Hill, I went super casual. Just my skinny jeans and Flight of the Conchords band tee! Oh, and as you can see in the "gravity house" photos below; I stole Derek's flannel, of course. :)

Hehe. Fun weekend! Now I'm back to school, and AP, and great fun! Bahaha. Seriously. Well, this next weekend is a three day weekend which is great, and then Tuesday is my birthday! Yes, that's right, I never mentioned it! Yep, I'm turning 17. Whoo. Actually it feels really strange. I feel like I should be 16 still. I'm not ready for 17!
